Belfast Met works closely with your business to analyse your training needs and develop tailored training solutions to meet those needs. The team will work with you to review your business training needs and discuss with you, in detail, the range of course options, assessment plans and delivery models available. The team will provide guidance on the range of training programmes and funding support programmes that your business qualifies for.

The Department for the Economy (DfE) has made upskilling a priority to grow the economy and meet its changing demands. Through the Skills Focus Programme, funded by DfE, companies can receive 75% funding to support the cost of training.

To be eligible for funding a company must;

- Be based in Northern Ireland
- Have under 250 employees
- Want to develop staff at level 2 and above in priority sectors
- Complete a Subsidy Declaration

(Following the September 2020 announcement from the Department for the Economy social enterprises are now eligible for this funded programme.)
