Get Known Summit Newcastle | 4 June 2026
Events & Learning
A new Newcastle business event is being launched to tackle what organisers say is one of the region’s biggest hidden challenges: talented people doing great work but not being seen or heard.
The Get Known Summit will take place at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle on Thursday 4 June 2026, bringing together founders, leaders, experts and career-driven professionals for a one-day in-person event focused on visibility, influence and opportunity.
The summit is part of the Get Known Club, a new membership platform created by Newcastle-based PR agency Moja, to support ambitious people to build stronger profiles and create more opportunities.
Rather than focusing on social media trends or self-promotion, the event will centre on building real-world visibility through PR, positioning, storytelling and showing up with confidence in the rooms where decisions are made.
Sophie Milliken MBE, CEO of Moja and Founder of Get Known Club, said the summit was created to address a pattern she sees across the North East:
“There is no shortage of talent in this region, but there is a shortage of visibility,” she said. “We meet incredible people every day who are brilliant but still flying under the radar. This summit is about helping them start showing up and be seen and recognised. The event is already attracting attendees from around the UK so will provide excellent networking opportunities too.”
Running from 9.30am to 4pm, the Get Known Summit will include talks, discussions and working sessions led by leaders, creators and visibility experts who have built strong public profiles in their own industries.
The confirmed speaker line-up includes Lisa Johnson, one of the UK’s leading voices on personal brand and business strategy, who will open the day with a keynote on building a brand that creates real commercial opportunity.
Further sessions will be delivered by Jeni Smith on networking and connection, Sophie Lee on storytelling and visibility, Helenlee Wilkinson on public presence and confidence, and David Gleghorn on mindset and momentum.
The day will also feature a panel discussion on awards and recognition, hosted by Frankie James, alongside working sessions and open discussion throughout.
By the end of the day, attendees will leave with a clearer sense of what they want to be known for, how to raise their profile and how to turn their experience into influence and opportunity.
Standard tickets are £249, with numbers limited to keep the event focused and high-quality.
